The event itself was a great success and was host to over 40,000 people over a 2-day period.  There was a lot to do and see, including competitions and games - it was fun for the entire family.

John Lewis, being the main sponsors of the event, had the largest stand - taking up most of the centre of the specially erected marquee.  They featured everything from bedroom furniture to kitchens to bathrooms and a full range of plants and garden furniture.  Moving around the marquee there was an incredible selection of different businesses, show casing what they had to offer - from computer sales to drive ways to holiday homes and then to us, holiday rentals.

We had one of the largest exhibits, allowing us to show off some of the luxury villas that can be seen on this web site.  There was a large screen LCD television continually showing 360-degree views of our villas, some of the local beaches and restaurants.

We had a small team of girls handing out flyers with the opportunity to enter a prize draw we were running.  The prize - an incredible villa holiday for 4 people in either Villa Del Sol or Casa Flamingo, including collection from the Arrecife airport.

The winner of this prize draw was announce on 96 Trent FM and posted in both the local evening papers, the 'Derby Telegraph' and the 'Nottingham Evening Post'

The lucky winner of this fantastic prize was Rebecca Harris.  Rebecca is bringing her family over in the summer of 2006.  On the news Rebecca was over the moon and the whole family are thoughly looking forward to the trip and the chance to explore some of the incredible sights and activities that Lanzarote has to offer.

Besides the raffle, we also offered anyone who kindly took a leaflet with them, a special 10% discount off any of the villas, at any time of the year for a whole 12 months from the 25th September 2005.  If anyone who still has one of these leaflets, and would still like to take advantage of this offer, please email or call at any time.

Despite this being the first exhibition that we've been involved in, it was with out doubt a great success for us and we will definitely be involve at some point with another show.  Where and when still needs to be determined, but when we have details we will post all the relevant information.
